An abundance of walking trails and bike paths give exercisers a safe option. On the beaches, some are not to content and laze the day away in the sun. Many visitors are surprised that the area boasts a substantial amount of surfers who take advantage of the swells when they can catch them, mostly during summer and winter storms.
