The Mississippi Gulf Coast has been a popular vacation destination for
more than a century. Wealthy New Orleans families would regularly leave
the heat and humidity for the cooling coast breezes each summer. Dozens

today. In recent years, the casinos have added thousands of hotel rooms to the area's inventory. The
